{"id":15654,"date":"2019-10-30T09:31:38","date_gmt":"2019-10-30T09:31:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.squirrelnation.co.uk\/?p=15654"},"modified":"2019-12-09T09:55:16","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T09:55:16","slug":"jerwood-fellows-berlin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.squirrelnation.co.uk\/index.php\/2019\/10\/30\/jerwood-fellows-berlin\/","title":{"rendered":"Jerwood Fellows, Berlin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In September, during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.berlinartweek.de\/en\/berlin-art-week\/\">Berlin Art Week<\/a>, with the Jerwood fellows and Manchester International Festival, we travelled to Berlin to meet artists, including Yael Bartana, whose exhibition <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capitainpetzel.de\/exhibitions\/the-graveyard\/\">The Graveyard<\/a>, was just opening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MIF had organised tickets to see shows and behind the scenes tours at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schaubuehne.de\/de\/start\/index.html\">Schaubuhne<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gorki.de\/en\">Maxim Gorky theatre<\/a>, which is breaking new ground with artistic director, <a href=\"https:\/\/gorki.de\/en\/company\/shermin-langhoff\">Shermin Langhoff<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also visited <a href=\"https:\/\/savvy-contemporary.com\/\">Savvy Contemporary<\/a>,  and <a href=\"https:\/\/hausderstatistik.org\/\">Haus der Statistik<\/a> which caught our eye.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Massive thanks to Punam Ramchurn @ MIF for organising the trip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In September, during Berlin Art Week, with the Jerwood fellows and Manchester International Festival, we travelled to Berlin to meet artists, including Yael Bartana, whose exhibition The Graveyard, was just opening.
