Folks are&nbsp;invited to get involved in a&nbsp;weekend of collecting, talks and activities exploring our personal connections with nature.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of this,&nbsp;we&#8217;re inviting folk to take part in our creative experiment, <em>The Purring Chamber.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The Purring Chamber<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sat 6th:&nbsp;11 &#8211; 5pm &amp; &nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Sun 7th: 12 &#8211; 3pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visit the bureau for lost cats and take part in Squirrel Nation&#8217;s creative research experiment featuring&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorajejey.co.uk\">Dora Jeyjey<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elliestamp.com\">Ellie Stamp<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/louiejesse.com\">Louie O&#8217;Grady<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gemmamaylatham.co.uk\">Gemma May Laytham<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lizziesells\">Lizzie Sells<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Drop by <em>The Reading Room<\/em> on the second floor to tune in to the cat-like qualities that we hold dear as you are invited to explore our relationship with cats and other species we&#8217;ve loved, lived with and lost.<\/p>\n<p>The Purring Chamber uses participant cat purr recordings from a 2011 study by Susanne Sch\u00f6tz (<em>Lund University, Sweden<\/em>) and Robert Eklund (<em>Link\u00f6ping University, Sweden<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Sch\u00f6tz, S., Eklund, R. 2011.
